This page is for the Tufted Titmouse (Baeolophus bicolor). This is another of my favorite birds and was one of the first birds that I was able to identify that was not part of the birds I would encounter on a typical day. I think the coloration and the tufted head are very striking features. My first photographic evidence occurred on February 16, 2015 on a snowy day at our backyard bird feeder. The best photograph I have taken of the Tufted Titmouse to date (above) was the same picture from February 16, 2015 at our Murray house, Murray, KY.

The following photographs are the best representative images from different dates and locations than my species representative example.
