This page is for the Purple Finch (Haemorhous purpureus). My first photographic evidence occurred on February 16, 2015, at our house in Murray, KY. I have seen these birds frequently in Kentucky and Oklahoma but have not seen one yet in Texas. I was, however, able to see many in Minnesota.
