This page is for the Wilson’s Snipe (Gallinago delicata). My first photographic evidence occurred on January 2, 2022 at the Fort Worth Nature Preserve, Fort Worth, TX. There were actually three of them in the small area just to the side of the bridge. It was a cold morning, but since I could not get out on New Year’s Day, I was eager to start the new year with a birding trip. I had seen snipe at another park a few week prior, but it was too fast for me to get a photo, so I was very excited to see these guys. My presence never seemed to bother them so I took probably close to 100 photos at different places on and near the bridge.
