In April 2025 a pair of Eastern Phoebes started repurposing a Barn Swallow nest near our back door. This week all three babies fledged. They had been flapping their wings in the nest getting ready to go. Here are photos of the parents, then a few I was able to sneak in of inside the nest when the parents were away, and then as they were preparing to leave, and finally a few of them hanging around the back yard. It was wonderful having them nest here. Hopefully they will have a second round of babies in the nest this summer.
