This page is for the Rose-ringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri). I saw one of these birds flying by our balcony but could not get my camera to get the shot. As plentiful as they are around Waikiki, it took surprisingly long to find one sitting still long enough and in a location where it was mostly visible. When one landed in a tree near us as we walked around the Honolulu Zoo, I was very pleased it remained there long enough to get a bunch of photos.
