This page is for the Western House-Martin (Delichon urbicum). When I first identified this bird, it was called the Common House-Martin. I guess it is not as common as they thought it was and decided to focus it as “Western.” My first image was from a great distance as we were already underway on the ferry for a few minutes. It is not a good shot but is the best I currently have.
