This page is for the Bonaparte’s Gull (Chroicocephalus philadelphia). My first photographic evidence of the Bonaparte’s Gull was on December 24, 2021 at the Forth Worth Nature Preserve, Fort Worth, TX. The best photograph I have taken of the Bonaparte’s Gull to date (above) was on January 2, 2022 at the Fort Worth Nature Preserve, Fort Worth, TX. I was able to isolate the image of this gull from among hundreds of birds (American White Pelicans, Double-crested Cormorants, Ring-billed gulls, and Bonapart’s Gulls were the ones I could identify) that appeared to be chasing a school of fish.

The following photograph is the best representative image from a different date and location than my species representative example.
