This page is for the Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata). The familiar call of the Blue Jay always reminds me of growing up in northeastern Oklahoma and walking around the wildlife management areas with my father. Always good memories, so I was happy to finally capture an image of this bird. My first photographic evidence of the Blue Jay was on December 11, 2021 at the Forth Worth Nature Preserve, Fort Worth, TX. The best photograph I have taken of the Blue Jay to date (above) is the January 17, 2022 photograph taken at the Village Creek Drying Beds, Arlington, TX.

The following photographs are the best representative images from different dates and locations than my species representative example.
