Rosy-faced Lovebird

Rosy-faced Lovebird perched on a building. An obvious escaped exotic, this bird was flying around the trees along the coast before it landed on the building.

This page is for the Rosy-faced Lovebird (Agapornis roseicollis). A native of Namibia, this bird is obviously an escaped exotic. It was flying from tree to tree before it decided to stop for a photo shoot on this building. There have been few observations in the Canary Islands. I wonder how many reported on Lanzarote were this particular bird?
