This page is for the Atlantic Lizard (Gallotia atlantica). This species if endemic to the eastern Canary Islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. This one was sunning itself near the reservoir where we saw a lot of birds. It found a sunny spot while still protected from the predators flying overhead.
