This page is for the Common Gallinule (Gallinula galeata). This is a fairly rare bird, but seemingly common at the WMA. I have been wanting to see this and the Purple Gallinule for a long time and was able to see both here. I even managed to get a decent picture or two as they hide among the vegetation very well.
