This page is for the Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica). My first photographic evidence occurred on August 1, 2021 at the Fort Worth Nature Preserve, Fort Worth, TX. These little guys were flying around all over the place and it was a bit difficult to catch them flying with the telephoto lens maxed out, so I had to back the zoom off a bit to 483 mm.
