This page is for the Bank Swallow (Riparia riparia). I originally thought this bird was a Chimney Swift the way it was flying. When I got it to the computer it was obviously a different species. The day’s conditions were grey and rainy, so the light was terrible. I had to really adjust the lighting and contrast in post-production to see any detail. Fortunately there was enough to see the brown band across the Bank Swallow’s breast.
