This page is for the Western Gull (Larus occidentalis). While I was in the area for a conference, I walked along the water’s edge. There were lots of gulls that I first thought were different species but seems they were just in different stages of development and vary greatly in coloration patterns. The two I show here are adults. My first photographic evidence occurred on April 22, 2022.
