Limpkin

This page is for the Limpkin (Aramus guarauna). I recently attended a conference at a Walt Disney World resort. Not really liking crowds and not having any family with me to go into the park, I took my back-up camera just in case I saw some birds. At first I had never seen a place do devoid of birds that is was a bit depressing. After some walking around, I shot a few fish crows and ibis at a distance. When I was walking near the water along the boardwalk, I saw my first Limpkin in the grass looking for food. The trip was much better after that.
