I was walking on the Boardwalk looking at the marshy area below as it is a frequent place to see birds. I was surprised to see a large number of these tadpoles. Given their size, I assume they are from an American Bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus). Perhaps I will find out if any survive through metamorphosis. On a subsequent visit a week or two later, many of the tadpoles were still there. Sitting among the tadpoles was an adult frog, shown below.
