This page is for the Anhinga (Anhinga anhinga). I had heard of this rookery for a few weeks when we decided to head over after birding in another area. There were so many birds is was unbelievable. I was very excited to see my first Anhinga, let alone get some good photographs of them. I really like the red eyes with the blue eye ring, and the coloration is beautiful. My first photographic evidence occurred on April 30, 2022.
