This page is for the American Robin (Turdus migratorius). The American Robin was a very common bird when I was growing up. I remember my paternal grandmother commenting on them frequently when we would visit. I suspect it was her favorite bird. My first photographic evidence occurred on June 6, 2010 while my wife and I were hiking at Mt. Rainier. Even through it is a bit washed 0ut, it is the best photograph I have taken of the American Robin to date (above).
