This page is for the Giant Hummingbird (Patagona gigas). Unfortunately, this blurry mess is the best shot I got of this guy as he rocketed by. My camera settings were for a stationary bird thus the shutter speed was too slow to catch a decent picture of it as he flew by at Mach 5 (or there about). We only saw one other of this species on the visit to Ecuador and it too shot too fast to get the camera on it.
