This page is for the Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos). This species is probably the most common duck in North America. The October 30, 2021 photo is my first photographic evidence of this duck, taken at the Fort Worth Nature Preserve, Fort Worth, TX. The December 11, 2021 picture is the best representative photograph I have taken of the Mallard to date (above), and was also taken at the Fort Worth Nature Preserve, Fort Worth, TX.

The following photographs are the best representative images from different dates and locations than my species representative example.
