This page is for the Wild Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo). My first photographic evidence of the Wild Turkey was on May 5, 2012 at Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Canyon, TX. We were there with our hiking group and these guys were near the trailhead and seemed to like posing for us. The best photograph I have taken of the Wild Turkey to date (above) is the May 5, 2012 picture taken at the Palo Duro State Park.

The following photograph is the best representative image from a different date and location than my species representative example.
