This page is for the Wilson’s Phalarope (Phalaropus tricolor). These are very interesting birds. While on the water, they will make very tight circles, which will stir up invertebrates from the sediment for them to eat. I wish I had a video of them making the little circles; it is very cute. The picture below shows one of them in the process.
