This page is for the Common Waxbill (Estrilda astrild). We saw several of these birds as we were hiking Diamond Head Crater, but had been unable to get a shot as they were flying too quickly (and the trail was steep, wet, and decently crowded). As we were nearing the end of the hike, I was finally able to get a few shots.
