This page is for the Forster’s Tern (Sterna forsteri). The shot above from my most recent observation is the best shot I have taken as they are usually too distant to get a great shot. My first photographic evidence of a Forster’s Tern occurred on December 11, 2021 at Camp Joy Park, Fort Worth, TX. There was one more flying around, but they were remaining quite distant. This one slowed enough at is was coming in to land that I could get a decent photograph of it.
