This page is for the White-breasted Nuthatch (Sitta carolinensis). My first photographic evidence occurred on August 10, 2009 near my parents house in Beatrice, NE. The bird was quite a distance away for the Sony point-and-shoot camera, so the quality is not great. Over 13 years later, I was finally able to get another shot of this bird. Still not a great shot, but a bit clearer than the first one.
