This page is for the Bullock’s Oriole (Icterus bullockii). My first photographic evidence of a Bullock’s Oriole occurred on April 18, 2021 at Falcon State Park, Roma, TX. This photograph is also the best image I have of a Bullock’s Oriole. This was the first field use of my new Tamron 156-600 telephoto lens. It was a cold, overcast, windy day in south Texas so I was very surprised that I was able to see this beautiful bird.

The above photograph is currently the only representative example of a Bullock’s Oriole that I have taken.
