This page is for the Grasshopper Sparrow (Ammodramus savannarum). This little guy was difficult to see and to photograph, as it is pretty small and very well camouflaged. If you are having difficulty seeing it in the picture, it is in the upper left, just above the forked, horizontal branch. This photo is also my first photographic evidence of the Grasshopper Sparrow and occurred on March 26, 2022.
The above photograph is currently the only representative example of a Grasshopper Sparrow that I have taken.
