There are currently 192 known species of the Order Gruiformes which includes six families: Sarothruridae (Flufftails-15 species), Rallidae (Rails, Gallinules, Coots-155 species), Heliornithidae (Finfoots-3 species), Aramidae (Limplin-1 species), Psophiidae (Trumpeters-3 species), and Gruidae (Cranes-15 species). I have photographed 10 (5.2%) of these species of birds, across three families shown below.
