This page is for the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (Tyrannus forficatus). This beautiful bird was flying around all over the place and I was able to get a few shots, most of which were fairly blurry. I have seen this bird plenty of times growing up in Oklahoma, which has the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher as its state bird. This photo is also my first photographic evidence of the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher and occurred on March 26, 2022.

The photograph below is currently the only other representative example of a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher that I have taken.
