This page is for the Prairie Falcon (Falco mexicanus). I first thought this was an American Kestrel as it the same size and had similar patterns. However, as I looked closer, it seemed less colorful than the American Kestrel. It was nearing dark and in a fairly remote part of the reserve. I was very happy to capture the photograph.
