This page is for the Ring-necked Duck (Falco sparverius). My father had a stuffed Ring-necked Duck as long as I can remember, which I have since inherited. It may even be older than I am. One of my friends who had my father as one of his professors saw it one day and said “Hey, that’s Doc’s duck.” My first photographic evidence occurred on December 31, 2021 at the Cement Creek Reservoir, Fort Worth, TX.
