This page is for the Purple Finch (Haemorhous purpureus). My first photographic evidence occurred on February 16, 2015 at our house in Murray, KY. I have seen these birds frequently in Kentucky and Oklahoma, but have not seen one yet in Texas.
The above photograph is currently the only representative example of a Purple Finch that I have taken.
