This page is for the House Finch (Haemorhous mexicanus). My first photographic evidence occurred on March 5, 2015 at our Murray, KY house. There were several birds hanging out in the trees near our feeders. Unfortunately, the brilliance of the Northern Cardinal stands out against the white snow and draws your eyes away from the three House Finches in the photo. The best photograph I have taken of the House Finch to date (above) was from January 8, 2022 at one of our backyard feeders, Vista Heights, Fort Worth, TX.

The following photographs are the best representative images from different dates and locations than my species representative example.
