This page is for the Gray Heron (Ardea cinerea). I saw this beautiful bird walking along the edge of the Motoyasu River at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park during my first visit to Hiroshima. My first photographic evidence occurred on May 27, 2014 in Hiroshima, Japan. It was wonderful to see this bird at the park.
