This page is for the Little Ringed Plover (Charadrius dubius). My first photograph of this bird was taken at a great distance. I could barely see it through my binoculars, and it was too far and too small for the autofocus on my camera (even with 700 mm of optics), so I used spot focus in the area and hoped for the best. The image is heavily cropped.
