 This page is for the Horned Grebe (Podiceps auritus). Walking down to the water from the bird sanctuary, I was very excited to see several Horned Grebes. The grebes are some of my favorite birds and these guys were very close to the shore allowing for some great shots. I love how their red-eyes shine.
