This page is for the Canada Jay (Perisoreus canadensis). My first photographic evidence of a Canada Jay occurred on June 8, 2010 at Mt. Rainier National Park, Washington. We were quite taken by the Steller’s Jays we were seeing for the first time and actively seeking those birds, so we were happily caught by surprised to see this Canada Jay.
