This page is for the Northern Waterthrush (Parkesia noveboracensis). I was very surprised to see this bird in the creek bed as I was walking into the refuge. I don’t see very many of these birds and initially thought it was a Louisiana Waterthrush. I was quite surprise when I was reviewing it on the computer and realized it was a Northern Waterthrush.
