Arachnida (Spiders, Scorpions, Ticks)

Arachnids are invertebrates that include spiders, scorpions, and ticks, with an estimated 65,000 living species and up to 10 million species overall. The Phylum Mollusca evolved about 435 million years ago, based on current evidence. Characteristics of Arachnids generally include a cephalothorax with eight attached legs and an abdomen.
