This page is for the Long-billed Dowitcher (Limnodromus scolopaceus). I almost missed these birds on my trip to Bosque del Apache NWR as I was told that the boardwalk was under construction. I was talking to another birder and he said that he saw these birds there, so I went back. Fortunately there was only a small section that was closed and I was able to get out far enough to see several species, including the Long-billed Dowitcher.
