This page is for the Yellow-breasted Chat (Icteria virens). This bird caught the leaders of the bird walk a bit off guard as it was not expected. It is also a bird that was on my eBird list from a bird walk I was part of in California, but not able to get photograph (one of seven), so I was very happy to put a photo with the listing. Six more to go on that list.
